It was only a matter of time until the CoS launched their own offensive against Anonymous. Since January, the nameless group of hackers and activists have protested the church... sometimes using classic hacker techniques e.g. DNS server attacks, black faxing, and leaking confidential documents. The Anonymous Exposed website itself is really just a container for the video, which is honestly much tamer than I anticipated. This comes just days after the most recent CoS protest. I wonder how Anonymous will respond to the video?
What do you guys think about the church's claims in the video? Since the video is directed at unknowing Anonymous members, do you think it will resonate or have any effect on would-be members?

not saying i like the COS but come on like this wasn't exactly expected, you start a public attack on internet servers and every nut job with a hate for the COS was going to jump on board and use it as an excuse to do their own thing. Seriously surprised no one was killed.

Also the reference to the original Anonymous video was heavily edited to show only the bits that the Co$ wanted to show. If these events really happened as they say, why isn't there more outside documentation, like news reports. All we get here are flashy graphics, a voice over declaring that these are "facts" and a blurry image of a police report.
Where's the proof Co$?

Ok, so what the CoS is doing is pretty clever, but I personnaly don't think it's gonna have any kind of effect outside the CoS community. Still, it's a pretty big assault, knowing that humbers speaks louder to ordinary people than actual facts about the senseless CoS doings.
I hope the recent video from anonymous will overcome this attack... i think it will.

This seems more like something blown out of proportion. Angry people seeing anonymous as a fad (thus claiming themselves to be "Anonymous", and then the Church of Scientology doing this propaganda-esque video, mostly to draw attention to the fact that they are being harassed.
And my constructiveness just went out the window, very tired.
