Starting next week we'll debut a longer, meatier, action-packed edition of the same EPIC FU you know and love. Because we'll be focusing on bringing you 9-10 minutes of kick ass content each and every episode, we're going to adjust our release schedule to once a week (Tuesdays @ 3pm PST).
Why the change? Lots of reasons! We're constantly trying out new things and figuring out what works best for the show. Differentiating between the Tuesday and Thursday episodes was a challenge, and we loved the richness of content that we achieve with longer episodes (e.g. the Jonathan Coulton episode). Not to mention, twice a week is somewhat of an awkward schedule - once a week just feels more natural and works better for viewers who rely on sensible schedules.
Steve goes into more detail on the MIX thread where we initially brought up the idea two weeks ago. We didn't want to make a change like this without running it past our friends, contributors, and community on MIX.
More good news! Because we're trimming a little fat out of the equation (publishing an extra show takes a lot of time) we'll be able to spend resources on making the extended EPIC FU something very, very special. We have a roadmap of how we want EPIC FU to evolve in near future, and now we'll have the opportunity to do a bunch of stuff content-wise that's been on the table for a long time. We'll also start experimenting with the visual look of the show, which may lead to a re-imagining of the EPIC FU style.
Oh yeah, and did you hear we're moving our offices to downtown Los Angeles? Rawk!

Great news everyone!
I'm glad you are going back to once a week. there's so much content out there. Twice a week was too much.
See you Tuesday!

dammit! I am one of the more recent new viewers of epic Fi and got use to this format. But if you guys seen there's a huge advantage doing new stuff with the weekly show. I think it's ok. There's better be more interesting stuff. May be once in awhile u have some bonus stuff once in awhile on non Tuesdays would be nice. With the new office, I hope Sarah doesn't have to sit behind the hot editing monitor anymore. It is crazy to see her sitting there on a summer day. U guys are doing a great job. Keep up the good work.

I think you should do a press conference for your roadmap that includes plans for third party applications like Super Monkey Ball.
